Experience The Foreigner by Larry Shue, produced by Valley Actors Club, directed by Morgan Nadauld at The Lionheart Hall! The Foreigner is a comedic play about a VERY shy British bloke named Charlie who is forced to stay at a southern lodge in Georgia. Due to his crippling social anxiety, he spends his four days in Georgia pretending he can’t speak English - to the absolute delight of the lodge owner, Betty Meeks, who has always wanted to meet a real foreigner. As her and the rest of the guests confide in their new foreign friend, Charlie discovers the dark secrets and schemes brewing beneath southern charm and so-called Christian values.
